STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHER
Working at our in-house photography studio at HYPE.'s HQ, the Studio Photographer shoots high quality still life photography for HYPE. online and social media platforms.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Creative Director and working closely with the eCommerce team and Marketing team, the role of Still Life Photographer provides all areas of the business with commercial and creative photography with elements of video creation and editing.
We are looking for a talented and highly creative photographer who can assist the photography team to take our online imagery to the next level.
This role is ideal for a hard-working, creative and self-motivated individual. High standards, a passion for fashion, understanding of product and a desire to create the best quality images are essential.
Responsibilities:
- To shoot high quality photography at volume for HYPE online.
- To consistently produce high quality and on-brand imagery, taking ownership and responsibility for the quality of your output.
- Shoot social content for imagery and video as needed.
- To provide high quality imagery/ video for HYPE's social channels, and on occasion online editorial features and marketing collateral.
- Ensure all shoots reflect HYPE's brand identity and adhere to guidelines and deadlines.
- To research current styles and trends within eCommerce photography/ social media for development and growth of the HYPE brand and website.
- To maintain a consistent and organised workflow, meet daily booked tasks aiming to exceed targets and deadlines.
- Source props and lighting, ensuring the execution of all creative shoots meets the required standards.
- Image selection, naming, cropping and processing of all images shot, maintaining file size and any relevant specifications.
- To take an active interest in product knowledge & trade information.
- To actively share best practices with the team, and help mentor new staff.
Personal Traits:
- Portfolio that demonstrates the applied techniques of E-commerce and creative still life
- photography (composition, lighting, capture, and processing), as well as pre-production and post-
- production steps.
- Must have fluent knowledge in photoshop, experience with using Wacom tablets preferred but not
- essential.
- Ability to work fast and efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and composition is essential.
- Must be willing to work from our HQ in Leicester.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00 per year
