Job description
We are hoping to attract a responsible and keen individual who is looking to enter into the property and interior design world. We are a small but successful interior design consultancy based near Euston station, specializing in retail and hospitality. In addition, we have a property development and portfolio management side that has a number of properties in central London and Kent.
The candidate needs to be proficient in administration and have competent skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. An understanding of Adobe software including Acrobat and Photoshop would be a welcome bonus. The ability to work with computers and learn new software is a must.
The role will initially be mostly administrative but extremely varied, you will be taught the necessary skills for our design software with the understanding that you will move into 3d visualization once you have mastered the admin side. You will be provided with training but be prepared to be thrown into the deep end, if you need help, we will always be on hand, expecting to develop your skills quickly.
Office Admin Responsibilities
1. Assisting the office by taking responsibility for all general office administration matters i.e., office maintenance, office equipment and stationary orders and office events.
2. Ordering, receiving, and returning post and packages.
3. Assisting the creative director and team in printing and scanning documents.
4. Answer phone calls and take messages professionally.
5. Organising office expense and receipts
6. Providing a front of house role for clients and visitors.
7. General knowledge in computing and IT support.
8. Assisting with the maintenance of project weekly trackers and filing systems
Design Responsibilities
1. Work closely with our Creative Director and providing support where necessary.
2. Good working knowledge of MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint is essential, and Adobe Photoshop would be an advantage.
3. Willing to learn Vectorworks CAD software to assist the design team in planning translation and 3D Modelling. Full training provided.
4. Assist design team in measuring fixtures on layouts and putting together a Linear meter spreadsheet. Full training provided.
5. Helping with the organisation of the studio library and archives
6. Help source FF&E items for new projects.
7. Assist with the 2D & 3D library and keeping it up to date.
Property Management Responsibilities
1. Providing design input on refurbishments, manage refurbishment contractors onsite, undertake material specification, and order non build materials.
2. Conduct viewings for AST and HMO rooms. Full training provided.
3. Assist with onboarding of new tenants and guests. Full training provided.
4. Inspect property for exiting tenants and guests and report damage and issues.
5. Record and input tenants and maintenance information into property management software. Full training provided.
6. Conduct monthly inspection of serviced accommodation.
7. Order and deliver replacement or required items for serviced accommodation guests.
8. Undertake inspections of reported issues. Schedule maintenance, order parts and provide access to the maintenance team. Inspect and sign off completed works.
9. Develop and refine written protocols for property management.

Salary: £15,264.78-£28,589.64 per year
