Job description
The Student Success, Engagement and Transition team is a new team created within the existing Student Transition and Welfare service for academic year 22/23, and beyond.
The team will be responsible for delivering on key strategic priorities related to student welfare and transition and will work closely with the Student Support Advisers and wider University community.
This remit of this team will include:
- Supporting the increasing numbers of at-risk students who are impacted by their wellbeing and mental health,
- Delivering Hallam Welcome and supporting students transition pre-arrival and at key points of the academic year,
- Supporting students to develop an early sense of belonging, mattering and communities
- Monitoring students’ engagement using learner analytics data and implementing proactive and effective nudge interventions to support retention, progression, and continuation.
- Providing support to wider Student Services projects and priorities
This role will be to provide administrative support to these activities and play a key part in the development of service priorities and processes.
