Mission
To increase the number of registrations of relevant students to targetjobs.co.uk through increasing brand awareness of targetjobs
To drive engagement across social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Instagram.

Outcomes

1. Student brand and acquisition goals are successfully met
  • Work with the Student Marketing Manager to deliver the social strategy. Manage targetjobs social media accounts (organic and paid activity) to meet audience and engagement goals. Working with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Events, Cibyl & Pathways) to discuss goals for social media and generate new content ideas.
  • You are up to date with social media trends and best practices and integrate them into campaigns as appropriate.
  • Using a social media scheduling platform to schedule content across social media platforms, ensuring deadlines for specific content are met.
2. Student interaction across all platforms and channels is continually developed and improved
  • Create, update and develop all graphic assets for static and video content
  • Develop short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok. Edit enticing, original and high-quality original video content across multiple platforms. Creating compelling stories.
  • Self-shooting, uploading and editing content where necessary
  • Write engaging copy for captions and using hashtag analysis to boost views on content.
  • Confidence to write and deliver voiceover scripts. Voicing and presenting all videos in a way which is fun and relatable to the audience
  • Creating content for both organic, boosted and paid formats, with an understanding of the difference between the three.
  • Manage the student experience through the different social media platforms and facilitate meaningful interactions with users who seek to engage online, always ensuring correct brand tone of voice.
  • Manage busy email inboxes and multiple messenger inboxes on social media.
  • Assist in managing influencer and affiliate programs.
  • Contribute to other various marketing projects or events as required.

  • Detail oriented, organised, and highly motivated.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet goals.
  • Team player and an ability to work well under pressure.
  • Able to build trusting relationships with people inside and outside our organisation.
  • Strong numerical know-how for reporting and analysing stats.
  • A genuine passion for social media
  • Sociable with a great sense of fun and humour.
Work Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
  • Experience in social media marketing, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Experience with social media tools, such as Sprout Social and Canva and video editing software such as CapCut.
  • Knowledge and experience editing both short and long form content
  • A well-rounded knowledge of the Higher Education System, Universities, and Early Careers.
  • Interest in and ideally experience in working with students.


Other Information

  • Permanent role – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm.
  • 3 month probationary period.
