Job Title: Student Placement (Medical Affairs) – 2022/2023
Insulet is looking for a Student Placement to join our International Medical Affairs team in the Summer of 2022 on a 12-month fixed term contract, based out of our offices in either London, Paris, Munich or Utrecht.
The successful applicant will work directly with the International Medical Affairs team whilst partnering with other cross-functional departments to support the delivery of strategic and tactical responsibilities with the end goal to drive Insulet’s mission to simplify life with diabetes. The Medical Affairs department at Insulet is one of the most diverse and collaborative groups within the organisation; from interactions with health-care providers to providing medical education and leading data generation to support patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:

Reviewing literature, publications, congresses etc., to support the identification of key opinion leaders / medical experts in respective countries

Provide support on administration and coordination of projects, assessment forms and contracts
-
Assist with content dissemination for internal teams, as well as external communication.

Medical writing support of the team for the development, improving and formatting of slides, scientific documents, manuscripts, including figures and references.

Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and build relationships across departments and functions

Work with cross-functional teams to assist with the execution of the medical plans.

Support the medical team for various activities, training, and initiatives that are strategically aligned with medical priorities.

Develop strong literature searching skills and critically evaluate published and unpublished clinical data.

Improve written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.

In addition, the intern, in consultation with the internship supervisor, will develop and present one structured presentation relevant to internship activities.
Minimum Requirements:

Currently studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s/Doctorate Degree in a related scientific subject

Knowledge of healthcare, biology, life sciences

Good written and effective verbal communication skills in English (French, German or Dutch is bonus)
