Job description

Dukes Education Group, a leading independent education group of Nurseries, Schools and Colleges a holder of a number of Student and Child Student Sponsorship Licences and values our open and close working relationship with the UKVI in ensuring all our international students studying with us are appropriately placed and their compliance documentation is maintained to the highest possible standard.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

· Under the direction of the Student Immigration Manager, to act as part of a team of staff responsible for issuing Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) on behalf of one of the Duke’s colleges or schools.

· Liaising with families, educational agents, and admission teams to ensure all required documents are received and processed to enable the issuing of a CAS.

· To communicate effectively in a timely fashion with parents and educational agents regarding the issuing of the CAS.

· To support and assist the departments Manager during any external inspection of student immigration documents.

· Contributing to internal policies and procedures relating to immigration compliance.

· Part of the team who will act as main point of contact for sales staff, college staff, agents and parents regarding CAS process.

Technical knowledge:

· Good IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

· Have experience of using student information systems or the ability to learn.

· Good communication skills, verbally and written.

Terms:

Hours – 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (full time 40 hours per week) with 30-minute lunch break.

Holiday entitlement – 25 days plus bank holidays. Only a maximum of 5 days may be taken in peek CAS issuing season during the months June, July and August. Holiday period – September to August.

Salary: normally staff will start at the bottom of the scale unless they have experience in CAS/Visa work.
