Job description
The Student Counselling Service Manager will lead, develop, and enhance our Student Counselling Service and deliver counselling to student clients.
The Service is delivered from our Centre for Student Life and online. A focus on change and innovation is key, as is a willingness to work in partnership with our wider student support professional staff colleagues across the University and external partners.
The post is part of the senior management of Health and Wellbeing within the Student Life department. The post holder will contribute to the leadership of the full diversity of our health and wellbeing provision, and the Student Life department more widely.
The post is full time, 35 hours per week, and open ended.
This postholder will normally be based at the Cardiff University Centre for Student Life in Cardiff city centre. We work flexibly, therefore some element of home working may be suitable and appropriate at certain times of year. Specific arrangements will be discussed with the successful candidate.
