About the role
This role is for current 2nd year undergraduate UoD Students Only
Join the Careers and Employment Service (CES) on your student placement. You will be collating and analysing service data, student and graduate feedback, labour market intelligence and producing relevant reports. This work will report in to the monthly CES reporting to provide an overview of activity and shape the ongoing offer for students and recent graduates.
The proposed start date is 7th August 2023.
Principal accountabilities
- To collect, analyse and report on student and graduate data as requested from the service.
- Contribute to monthly data collection and production of reports on a regular monthly basis.
- Develop and implement effective procedures for data collection, auditing, and reporting, including technical solutions and creative presentation, developing a broad understanding of software functionality to help inform the decision-making process.
- Develop standard operating procedures for the data capture and reporting so that this can be embedded within the service.
- Review current reporting processes and make recommendations around data capture focusing on continuous improvement.
- Continually monitor labour market intelligence, produce a monthly roundup for the CES team.
- Participate in actual data collection as and when required including placement / finalist calling, and event attendance data / feedback collection.
- Support the operation of the CES Hubs (Kedleston Road and Markeaton Street) promoting the CES service offer, welcoming students, offering first point of contact support and signposting, as well as live chat support.
