We are delighted to offer these brand-new posts at St Wilfrid’s to provide direct student support, to further develop relationships with PP families, to deal with emerging issues our young people face and to offer direct support to a cohort of identified students within the given year group, supporting behaviour and development.
These are permanent full-time posts. The successful candidates will support an agreed cohort of students within a given year group, which will help support the work of our Teaching Heads of Year, but will also make a significant difference to students’ development, providing mentoring to enrich and improve specific students’ experience of school, behaviour and progress. The post-holders will be part of our wider Pastoral Team, which includes Heads of Year, Student Services, a Solutions Team, Attendance Officer, EWO and Form-Tutors. It is envisaged that we will have a post attached to each Year Group (Y7-Y11) and a SSO for the Sixth-Form, which will be focused on student support and mentoring. Please see the Job Description for full details of the responsibilities of the posts.
