Are you looking for an opportunity to support students to make effective progress, maximise attendance, retention and achievement of all students within an allocated area including those facing barriers to learning? Here at HSDC we are looking for a Student Progress Mentor to develop the skills of students who are disengaging following referrals from tutors. To liaise with relevant specialist colleagues to create, co-ordinate and implement a support plan for identified students with clear targets.
This role requires an organised approach to work, with the ability to work on own initiative and to manage a complex caseload. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and parents/carers.
