Salary: Grade 6 (w.e.f 1 August 2023): £32,995 to £ 34,840 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £37,488 per annum inclusive of London Weighting.

Student Services supports all home and international students, including UG, PGT and PhD, from enrolment to beyond graduation. Cumulatively, the various teams handle over 100,000 student and department requests covering all non-academic administration, including Immigration Service Provision, Welfare, Mental Health and Disability. The Student Support and Welfare Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our outstanding team of Student Welfare Officers within Student Services.
In this varied and challenging role, you will be providing information, advice and guidance to students across the University. This includes triaging student issues, booking appropriate appointments, offering money/budgeting advice and managing students at risk in partnership with the team manager.
You should have a degree or equivalent and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will also be expected to have experience of handling sensitive information and situations.
Student Support and Welfare Officers lead on student health and wellbeing promotion via the Well@Brunel brand in addition to other project work.
An enhanced DBS verification Check will be Required.
