Two Student Affairs Co-ordinator posts (one open ended; one on a fixed-term 12 month contract) have become available within the Student Affairs Team.

Student Affairs

The Student Affairs team is responsible for the management of student casework under the Assessment Offence Procedures.

The Role

The Student Affairs Co-ordinators have a core responsibility for providing high quality administrative support, stakeholder liaison and enquiry management for a challenging caseload of academic misconduct. Attention to detail, good organisational skills and effective communication are key to success in this role and a developed understanding of procedure and regulation in an University environment would be a real benefit. The role will also include the compiling and review of evidence and conducting follow-on investigations where required.

The role requires a methodical approach to complex tasks, often with conflicting deadlines. Experience of working independently to prioritise work appropriately, identify problems, and work with others to agree solutions is essential. Candidates should have a strong sense of justice, a capacity to understand the principles of academic integrity at a local and sector level and a strong desire to develop their existing skillsets.
