Families in Focus provides targeted support to children and families across Bristol. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that delivers intensive interventions with families where a young person is a risk of entering the care system or entering custody.

As part of the Families in Focus service, the Strengthening Families Team work with families with children aged 0-18 where there are clear factors indicating that there is risk of a child or young person entering the care system or entering custody, such as family conflict, offending behaviour, ASB, frequently going missing, non-attendance at school or where complex family dysfunction is present due to parental mental health difficulties or alcohol or substance misuse.
