We are looking for experienced and motivated individuals to join our service in the role of keyworker within our Strengthening Families Team.
Families in Focus provides targeted support to children and families across Bristol. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that delivers intensive interventions with families where a young person is a risk of entering the care system or entering custody.
As part of the Families in Focus service, the Strengthening Families Team work with families with children aged 0-18 where there are clear factors indicating that there is risk of a child or young person entering the care system or entering custody, such as family conflict, offending behaviour, ASB, frequently going missing, non-attendance at school or where complex family dysfunction is present due to parental mental health difficulties or alcohol or substance misuse.
You will be confident in working as part of a busy team dealing complex family situations and have experience of multi-agency partnership work.
You will have a manageable workload and regular supervision, in which you will receive both support and challenge. We have a strong emphasis on supporting staff wellbeing and there are opportunities for career development and further training.
We are close knit teams, who work collaboratively in the best interests of the children, families and the communities we serve.
