WHAT TO EXPECT
It is not every day you come across luxury bespoke commissions, an enviable portfolio of accessories and a versatile range of desirable lifestyle and Hard Top vehicles. Unless, of course, you join us in Vehicle Personalisation, part of Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO).
You’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated whose primary objective is to develop the strategy for the business unit cycle plan and package as clearly defined proposals for delivery by programme management, whilst measuring current performance and identifying growth opportunities
This exciting new role will be part of a growing and fast paced team. The successful candidate will be able to develop new processes and bring structure, insights and recommendations. The role requires the candidate to be analytical, data-driven, have financial awareness and strong stakeholder management skills.
You’ll have an opportunity to help define vehicle personalisation (VP) future products and business direction as well as a level of responsibility, autonomy and exposure to senior leadership. You’ll get an insight into the VP business, how it operates, makes decisions and interact with the core Jaguar Land Rover business as well as an opportunity to make a positive contribution to the VP business.
The Business & Strategy Analyst is responsible for:
Understanding the market, competitor and customer landscape to support development of the strategy and ensure our business unit is a class leader- Collating and interrogating data to support business decisions
- Providing data and insight to support development of WLP for business unit
- Investigation of new opportunities to maximise the value of the business unit offering
- Leading a portfolio of VP study projects from initiation through to concept definition
- Working with a cross functional team to scope the appropriate programme content to meet customer, technical, attribute and financial requirements.
- Supporting the preparation and presentation of data for VP and SVO governance fora
- Developing new processes and inputting into the improvement of existing processes to ensure robust, documented and successful delivery of the business unit strategy
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Be commercially astute with the ability to understand the business function that this role supports- Experience of leading projects as well as being an excellent network and relationship builder
- Ability to question/challenge where appropriate the established wisdom bringing a ‘fresh eyes’ approach.
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex scenarios and proposals
- Ability to confidently advise and influence stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify how one issue can impact on another.
- Methodical, detailed approach to tasks
- Be self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability
