POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Content Strategist who can strategize, write and develop a comprehensive content plan to communicate FNRP's values and insights as well as establish FNRP as a thought leader in the industry. This position focuses on content planning, development, design, production, analysis, management, and measurement. The Content Strategist is responsible for establishing an organization's editorial voice, and determining content needs, channel selection, and distribution. This position has no direct reports.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND OUTCOMES:
- Content writing and development
- Content map on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Best-in-class content via multiple external channels
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing clear and engaging content that is consistent with the company's brand image and addresses both business goals and consumer needs.
- Analyzing content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate consumer needs.
- Performing content audits to assess how well existing content is performing.
- Performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed.
- Creating, adjusting, and managing the editorial calendar.
- Establishing style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content.
- Developing and maintaining a solid understanding of the target audiences and markets through online and traditional market research.
- Working with editors, writers and other team members to produce content
- Researching and staying up to date on the latest developments in terms of search engine optimization, content trends and consumer behavior
- Managing & updating older content as needed
- Ensuring consistency across all content, from websites to social media channels and videos
- Overseeing the development and launch of new content channels
- Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's is a big plus)
- 7-10+ years of content writing, at least 5+ years in the private equity and real estate
- Has expertise working directly with internal stakeholders, C-level executives
- Experience with a variety of content formats such as podcast, webinar, blogs, etc.
- Ability to create KPI's and reporting around optimizing marketing content
- East Coast availability - This position is remote. That said, the entire company works on U.S. East Coast hours.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Includes a typical office or home-based office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
