Leading digital performance marketing agency seeks a Content Strategist

As a Content Strategist at DAC, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive content strategies that tackle real-world business challenges and help meet our client’s objective's. You will provide strategic oversight to guide the creation, delivery, and governance of useful, usable, and effective content across digital channels, including web, social, email, and more. This function will report to the Team Lead, Content Strategy and will be a critical partner to other key members of the strategy and creative team(s).

What we get
  • A capable strategist with 3-5 years of digital marketing experience, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and a strong understanding of website content strategy, the digital content space, and how to bring content strategies to life.

  • A tech-minded explainer who understands program measurement and website analytics (e.g., Google or Adobe; certification preferred).

  • Somebody who is self-motivated, creative, pragmatic, comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, and loves to collaborate with specialists across multiple teams and offices.
  • Experience working on both B2B and B2C client projects is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Perform content audits and inventories of client and competitive digital content assets.
  • Leverage consumer insight to map customer journeys and the best way to fulfil and address user needs.
  • Integrate user and SEO research to identify content gaps and make strategic recommendations across web, social, information architecture, and other project types.
  • Review analytics to continually optimize and improve content experiences on-site.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish and articulate key messaging and ensure that content is aligned accordingly.
  • Work with writers, editors, UX designers, and other creatives to deliver stories that are aligned with business goals and user needs.
  • Build out data-driven, user-centric email strategies. (CRM strategy experience is an asset)
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (i.e., Hubspot) is an asset.
  • Support Team Lead and Director with new business and organic growth opportunities.
  • Support the new business and account teams in pitch and presentation material for content strategy mandates.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in digital marketing, and serve as an internal centre of excellence, sharing knowledge and ideas with the broader team.
