Global Procurement provides support of Deutsche Bank’s business divisions globally. You will engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop sourcing strategies and plans, and execute sourcing events to create value for the Bank. You will a member of the Banking Services category management team supporting Investment Bank, Corporate Bank, Asset Management, and Infrastructure divisions.

Your key responsibilities
- Overseeing the development of annual and medium-term strategic plans. Identifying specific sourcing projects/initiatives for the year including expected savings, resource requirements and associated timescales for completion
- Leading the execution and supports the development of Category-based sourcing processes for assessing and fulfilling current and future sourcing needs
- Managing complex sourcing deals, driving the supplier selection and negotiation process for key sourcing events
- Developing strong, productive working relationships with clients at a senior level
- Supporting knowledge management. Continually scaning the category and industry environment to gather insights
Your skills and experience
- Experience in Banking or procurement experience is highly regarded
- Self-organised, strategic thinker as well as an “executer” with emphasis on getting things done in right quality and on time
- Strong team player, able to work in virtual, global teams in a dual reporting matrix organization
- Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills (written/verbal for contract negotiations)
- High energy, flexible and with the ability to work in a fast-paced and global business environment
