Robotics & Digital Solutions, part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing Operations. This position will be based out of Santa Clara, CA.

It comprises three key med-tech platforms: Flexible Robotics (MONARCH®), Surgical Robotics (OTTAVA™), and Digital Solutions. The OTTAVA Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing Operations reports to the Senior Director, OTTAVA GSM and serves as a key partner to the President of the OTTAVA platform and the OTTAVA LT ensuring alignment, accountability and focus needed for effective execution of critical projects and strategies to deliver on critical milestones for OTTAVA. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic and high-energy environment, able to support both Strategic Marketing and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serving as a trusted advisor to the OTTAVA GSM LT
o Identifying and shaping solutions that drive business growth and innovation in pursuit of the long-term business strategy
o Anticipating the needs and proactively bringing together appropriate people and resources to support the prioritization and decision-making processes around work to be done
o Collaborate across multiple functions in support of platform objectives
- Drives a Culture of Innovation and Executional Excellence
o Enhances transparency, connectivity, empowerment and simplification across the organization
o Partners across functions to harmonize and continuously improve the Platform's ways of working
- Supports portfolio health and decision-making
o Supports portfolio decision-making and tradeoffs to ensure the OTTAVA team is collectively selecting and fully resourcing the most impactful opportunities.
o Responsible for driving process and approach for Robotics R&Ds unmet need identification and value assessment
- Drives strategic alignment
o Partners with the OTTAVA Leadership Teams to align to vision, mission and goals
o Ensures clarity of role for each leader in driving the GSM strategy
Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 6 years of progressive business experience with 5 years of marketing and/or project management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence decision making at all levels and organizational “savvy”.
- Able to positively impact productivity and business results.
- Proven ability to act as a change agent and adapt to rapidly changing organizational and business issues.
- Strategic thinking ability to drive business results with demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
- The ideal candidate must have proven leadership and influencing competencies along with demonstrated business acumen skills, preferably gained through multi-sector and global experiences.
- Ability to understand and navigate the complexities of operating in a matrix global framework, along with the capability to execute flawlessly in high stress/fast paced environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and learning agility are key for this role.
- The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Strong communications skills, verbal and written and through different types of technology and media.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge / deep understanding of Project/Portfolio Management systems and tools.
- MedTech, Healthcare, or Medical device background.
- Experience in New Product Development.
Other:
- This position will be based out of Santa Clara, CA and may require up to 30% travel both international and domestic
- The anticipated base pay range for this role is $130,200 to $224,825
