Trustpilot is looking for an experienced Finance Professional to lead and help build our Strategic Finance team. This is a rare opportunity to build a growing team from the ground level up and drive analyses for some of the most exciting initiatives and decisions underpinning Trustpilot's growth. In this role, you will partner closely with Product senior leadership on business priorities that will have a critical impact on our company's near and long-term success.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance, the Strategic Finance Analyst is a key member of Trustpilot's Finance team. You will drive business partnership with Finance and executive leaders, which requires strong analytical rigor, the ability to consider the big picture, and excellent communication skills. You must have experience building collaborative relationships with people across a variety of backgrounds.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead Finance business partner to the Product organization, building operational and financial models and sizing opportunities on various product initiatives
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure all product, operating and financial metrics are properly defined, monitored and being met. The Strategic Finance team is the source of truth for all metrics driving the business
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Engineering and Data & Analytics leadership and internal stakeholders to build new KPI reporting for the business
  • Monitor performance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, constantly refining the metrics we measure and helping operating teams develop initiatives and strategy to optimize them
  • Lead key analytical projects that assist and influence the business
  • Work directly with the business team and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations and help inform long-term strategic decisions
  • Take ownership, identify process improvement opportunities for existing processes, reporting and controls, and drive positive change across the organization
  • Track down and identify sources of data, determine the validity of the data, and analyze the variance in the data between various systems and report

Who you are:

  • A background in investment banking, FP&A, management consulting, or Data & Analytics; prior experience working with or within the product organization preferred.
  • A curious mind who is equally comfortable being in the weeds as they are with the big picture
  • High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including advanced Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, often changing environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; analyses to be presented to operational leaders, executive management and the BoardHighly organized and comfortable managing multiple work streams at once
  • Must be a proactive & highly organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
