Job description
Key Responsibilites
- Picking and kitting up of jobs using picking lists provided and issuing to production, including the physical movement of jobs to the appropriate work centre as required, liaising closely with shop floor staff and team leaders.
- To allocate and issue material using the HSS stores MRP system.
- Receive goods upon delivery onto stores MRP system.
- Replenish lineside stock daily
- Return picked goods back into the stores returning them to their correct locations and transacting on the MRP system. Carry out stock adjustments as and when required
- To Liaise closely with all appropriate departments i.e. The production planner, engineering, Purchasing,
- Issuing of consumable items to production.
- Assist with ‘Cycle Counts’ as directed and in a timely manner.
- To perform all duties in accordance with defined Standard Operating Procedure.
- Any other duties reasonably required and commensurate with competence and skills.
- General housekeeping, to include shelf and sweeping duties
- If required; to unlock / lock up the yard and stores as required.
- To be available for overtime as and when required (reasonable notice would be provided)
- To participate in the continuous improvement of stores activities, ensuring that policies and procedures comply with legislation and regulatory requirements.
Technical Skills
- Competent in Microsoft Excel
- Sage experience desired but not necessary
