DNV is seeking a Stores-person to join our R&D team at Spadeadam.
We are seeking a reliable and detail orientated individual to join our team as a Storeman. In this role, you will support the Stores based at Spadeadam Test Site. Working within a small team, you will be required to perform tasks ensuring the safety and security of stock and the smooth day to day running of the Stores.
Key accountabilities:
- Stock purchasing and administration,
- Assist and operate the goods in/goods out area,
- Receiving/dispatching deliveries and goods,
- Updating inventory management systems,
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
A perfect candidate for the role should:
- Be motivated, driven, with an eager approach to work,
- Be highly flexible with an adaptable approach,
- Have good organisational skills – with the capability to plan and prioritise workload,
- Be able to plan and execute work with required quality and within agreed schedule,
- Be able to work on own initiative,
- Have strong attention to detail,
- Be able to work as a part of the team and interface with colleagues from a wide range of areas and disciplines.
Stores/ warehouse experience would be advantageous however full training will be provided.
