Role Summary
To provide and support effective and efficient stores support at EMA and all line stations that meets the operational requirements in a sustainable and safe manner.
Responsible for ensuring the relevant store shift work at EMA is planned and carried out on time, in full and to the required standards.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for delegating the work in the stores department; in consultation with the Stores and Logistics Manager UK, supporting with any management issues of employees in line with Human Resources.
- Plan, distribute and supervise workload for the EMA stores rostered employees. Ensure all work is completed, prioritising, communicating, and monitoring throughout.
- Report any discrepancies/incomplete work to the Stores and Logistics Manager UK.
- Ensure stores employees understand and follow the schedule planned whilst ensuring all work is completed to company procedures.
- To deputise in the absence of the Stores and logistics Manager UK for all Customs and HMRC requirements
- Responsible for all stock checks, ensuring all are carried out At EMA Hangar and EMA line, whilst processing any being responsible for any errors.
- Ensure all preloads are picked, packed, and delivered on time for the checks at the hangar and overseas. Occasional travel to line stations in the UK and overseas will be required. This might include supervising of any Hazardous goods shipments, in line with UK regulations.
- Educate and supervise EMA stores staff in safe methods of working in line with company procedures.
- Ensure the logistics system RAL ENVISION, is updated correctly for all work carried out by the stores. Report any deficiencies to the Stores and Logistics Manager UK as and when required.
- Responsible for ensuring any required parts maintenance are ordered correctly, whilst monitor regarding estimated/required delivery times.
- Responsible for ensuring proper handover procedures are completed I line with the MOE.
- Ensure company premises are maintained and good housekeeping standards are met at all times. Report any building/facilities defects to the Stores and Logistics Manager UK. Ensure lights and power are switched off where appropriate, including hangar heating at end of shift.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience.
- Effective interpersonal skills to supervise employees.
- Effective Information Technology skills.
- Possess confident and effective communication skills in English (both written & verbal).
- Ability to prioritise based on the needs of the company operation, in a very fluid, fast changing environment.
Proven problem solving, planning & organisation skills.
- Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisor role (must have a reference from company)
- Experience with maintenance software.

- £29,400 Annual Salary
- 25 days Annual leave plus Bank Holidays

- The recruitment process will involve a competency-based interview, followed by a scenario-based Assessment.
