Their huge experience has enabled the company to extend its capabilities to the Jaguar, Ford and Roush V8 units, as well as several more varied powerplants.
This year, they are undertaking a revolutionary period of growth as they look towards increasing volume of production and re-launching th0e business worldwide. Our client is currently in the process of renovating their 10,000 square foot custom designed facility in Coventry, complete with cutting edge manufacturing machinery and assembly areas, so that our master craftsmen can continue making the world’s best cars and car parts with the highest precision and quality at scale.
Responsibilities
- Taking delivery of Goods in and Goods Out
- Ensuring that the stock control system is maintained and correct processes are in place and adhered too
- Sourcing and ordering parts at best value
- Producing stock control records
- Management of BoM costings and updating any changes
- Signing for and verifying delivery quantities
- Sample checking quality to an agreed level and frequency
- Updating Stock Received data sheets. Stock-taking
- Stores administrative tasks
- Stock distribution to specific locations in production areas
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting delivery shortages to Production Management.
Essential Skills
- Experience in operating Stores area within an assembly production line environment
- Previous experience of working as part of a team in a quality lead environment
- Forklift training certificates
- Reach Truck certification
- Basic computer literacy – Microsoft packages, Word and Excel and production system data entry
- Sage/Bespoke System knowledge and experience
- Experience in Stores environment within the automotive production industry
- Experience of automotive product quality assurance systems
