Job description
RGV Aviation Limited is celebrating its 50th year and is the Leading General Aviation maintenance provider, and we are pleased to be recruiting for a Stores Assistant to join our Team.
We are based at Gloucestershire Airport and this role will report to the Stores Manager. No Stores experience is necessary as full training will be given, a can-do helpful attitude, accuracy and attention detail is ideal, and the right candidate can make this role their own and be responsible for key elements that make our business successful. Working under pressure and at a fast pace means a dynamic individual who is keen to be part of a fantastic Team will thrive.
Tasks will include-
- Issue and receive tools to/from the tool store in a timely manner.
- Ability to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Issue components required for the Hangar Maintenance Crew
- Assist with booking in stock and report any shortages.
- Maintain consumable stocks to an optimum level.
Person Specific -
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience with arranging and receiving shipments would be advantageous.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
A competitive salary (c £22,000 pa) is offered for 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £21,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
