My client is a leading global provider of warehouse logistics automation systems. They are now recruiting for a Stores Administrator to be based at their busy site in Castle Donington, Leicestershire. This is a highly structured, organised and process orientated role, requiring exceptional attention to detail and IT skills. The successful Stores Administrator must possess a high level of customer service skills and work well within a team.

Stores Administrator Responsibilities:
- Ensure that there are correct spares onsite at adequate levels for the site’s requirements.
- Carry out regular checks and ensure orders are completed, tracked and raised on the internal maintenance management system.
- Ensure the correct consumables are onsite at adequate levels for the site’s requirements with accompanying COSHH data sheets provided and filed.
- Complete monthly stationary checks and reorder supplies.
- Ensure there is sufficient stock levels of Personal Protective Equipment that is in good condition, placing orders when necessary, replacing worn out items and engineers’ uniforms where/when necessary.
- Request quotes and place orders for additional and/or replacement tooling for engineers and the workshop.
- Check off deliveries against orders placed and any discrepancies are reported back to the supplier.
- Ensure all purchases are recorded on the correct tracker and provide monthly reports on current spend against budgets to the Site Manager.
- Confirming orders have been delivered correctly before authorising invoices to be paid.
- Generate, organise and input the weekly planned preventative maintenance plan in line with control room requirements.
Stores Administrator Requirements:
- The successful candidate will hold a strong working background within a similar role.
- Previous experience within an engineering stores background would be advantageous - High attention to detail.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- IT Literate: MS Office particularly Excel spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of cost, spend and budgets.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Team player.
