Job Description:

Reporting and working closely with the Stores Manager in the daily running of the stores environment to maintain the highest of standards

You will be responsible for:

  • Offloading and loading deliveries
  • Stock Level Maintenance
  • Collating kits for dispatch
  • Driving and deliveries
  • Maintain site in accordance with company policy and in accordance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Booking in Materials on our System and management of Paperwork.
  • Carrying out inspection of goods received - checking for damage, quantity and quality of items received.
  • Issuing of store and associated record keeping.
  • Vehicle Checks – Ensuring Fully Maintained & Serviced

You will have the following qualifications / experience and competence:

  • Preferably hold a valid forklift licence, or be willing to train.
  • Clean Full UK Driving License.
  • The ability to multitask, to a high standard with exceptional attention to detail
  • Logical and methodical, with good numeracy skills.
  • Basic Computer knowledge, or willing to learn.
  • Team player with the ability to work alone.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good organisational skills, including managing workload effectively
  • Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.

Previous knowledge or experience of working in an Engineering environment would be most advantageous, along with the ability to understand basic Engineering Drawings.
