We have a vacancy for a Storekeeper / Driver within our small but supportive Stores team. You will play a key part in supporting the force by maintaining stock and accurate records for Avon and Somerset Police.
Your role is a vital one as you will be providing a delivery and collection service for stores items.
Your Main Responsibilities will be:
- Receive and store stock items from suppliers and issue stock to customers
- Maintain accurate stock records including all issues and receipts on a computerised system
- Make deliveries and collections
- Receive and account for all items returned to the Store and carry out stock counts
- Maintain Department vehicles by ensuring they are clean and supplied with fuel, oil and water
Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
- A full driving licence and be prepared to become an authorised driver of force vehicles
- A willingness to obtain licenses to drive Department vehicles (minimum of Category C).
- Good IT skills
