Job description

The Responsibilities

· Coaching and motivating your team to inspire top performance and an exceptional customer experience

· Executing standards in recruiting, hiring, training, guest services, visual merchandising, and store operations

· Execute plans to drive key performance indicators to maximize profitability

· Enhance brand loyalty by empowering team to create a natural and personable experience for customers

· Act as a partner between customers, sales associates, store leadership and corporate business partners

· Maintain a high level of customer focus and leads by example with clear and engaging communication

· Ensure visual directives and standards are maintained

· Employ methods to support conflict resolution and employee coaching.

· Processing of deliveries in an efficient manner and maintaining the stock room management.

· Proactively drive store performance across all departments with creative flair

· Maximise sales and product availability whilst controlling costs

· Managing the day to day running of the store ensuring costs are within budget and carrying out P&L.

The Desired Experience/Skills

· Years of Experience: 2+ Years as Store Manager or Assistant Manager within a fashion lifestyle brand, multiple branded or high profile independent retailer; 6 years of retail experience.

· At ease at organizing and running team briefings, people management & motivational skills

· Excellent communication (written and verbal)

· Good understanding of merchandising, managing floor space and product densities, knowledge of Health & Safety, commercial awareness, managing stock levels, recruitment & selection.

· Computer literate with good understanding of MS Excel, Word, Outlook

· Should be willing to travel occasionally

· High level of personal energy to drive projects to completion

· Confident and assertive

· Positive and enthusiastic with a can do attitude

· Passion for fashion retail

· Professional manner

· Trend aware, fashion conscious and well presented at all times
