Position: Store Manager

Location: Rugby

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Working days: 5 days over 7 (including weekends)

Salary – Guaranteed earnings of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (includes basic salary + bonus + guaranteed commission)

The successful candidate will currently be in a high performing Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager role, ready to take the next step in their retail career. We are looking for ambitious and dynamic individuals, with a can-do attitude, inspirational leadership skills and a team player with the ability to motivate our store teams. Your role/responsibilities will include:

  • To lead, inspire, motivate, develop and coach a high performing store sales team through effective leadership, to achieve their personal and team sales targets.
  • Provide an excellent customer experience, by helping customers to choose the perfect additions to their homes, and building a strong rapport with customers to understand their needs.
  • Strive to meet set KPIs to develop your personal performance.
  • Maintain high store standards ensuring NCF customers are provided with a positive, engaging shopping experience and a first class solution to their interior design requirements.
  • You will be directly responsible for overseeing the effective day to day management of the store, including staff/rota planning, staff appraisals and general performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing people
  • Experience of working within sales and retail/FMCG
  • Ability to manage people and have a clear dichotomy between yourself and subordinates
  • Not afraid of confrontation
  • Ability to have difficult conversations is a must
  • Effective communicator at all levels
  • Awareness of KPIs, expectations and deadlines
  • Strong admin and analytical skills
