We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail Store Manager to join the Flagship store located in the centre of London. The Retail Store Manager will thrive in leading your team to develop the growing business and drive sales while remaining committed to focusing on our brands passion for quality and service.
Duties of the Retail Store Manager
Including but not limited to:
- Managing opening and closing procedures including controlling access to the store, float checks, banking and cash procedures including discrepancy checks and conducting daily briefs.
- Stock control management. Receiving store deliveries, adjusting inventory and loading while liaising with the Operations Team. Minimising stock shrinkage through regular stock counts, liaising with the Buying Team and ensuring that the store team are trained on stock procedures.
- Creating a safe and inclusive environment for both staff and customers
- Visual merchandising of store
- Managing a diverse work force including both full-time and part-time staff members
- Resolving customer complaints and queries
- Updating the senior management team on issues pertaining to performance, operations and store team
- Train staff on product knowledge and company processes
- Managing the store rota including the effective allocation of overtime.
- Manage, develop and coach the store team towards achieving targets set by the company
Profile:
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset, and be able to engage with opportunities within the local communities to drive extra sales and footfall to the business.
- Have strong understanding of the challenges and nature of working in a retail environment.
- Experience in working in an environment focused on delivering an excellent customer experience.
- A proven track record in engaging and motivating others in order to increase sales – the successful candidate will be confident, personable, approachable and charismatic.
- Be someone who constantly connects with their colleagues, resolving issues, drives performance & supports the wider business.
- Have a flexible approach, being adaptable to change in order to flourish in a fast-paced commercial environment.
