Due to the unprecedented success of the Melbourne store and our growing online presence we have decided to open our second flagship store in the UK. We’re looking for an experienced and capable Luxury Store Manager for our brand new location on Redchurch Street, Shoreditch.
We’d love a fun, driven and passionate Manager to represent Millie on British soil and be a huge part of the brand expansion and growth strategy, helping to build the brands reputation in the UK alongside general retail duties.

Millie Savage is an Australian jeweler based in Melbourne. She began by hand making her pieces in her garden shed and now works with an intimate team of female power houses. Millie believes in using ethically sourced, high quality materials and has a true love for jewelry making to ensure a rad level of crasmanship. Her unique pieces promise to be magic in your hands for years to come.
What’s the purpose of the role?
The London based Store Manager for Millie Savage is responsible for driving sales and supporting the expansion of the business in a new demographic. They will develop the brand's reputation through consistent promotion and engagement, in store experiences and monthly events.
They are expected to represent the brand and to build a customer centric culture and ensure that all customers, suppliers and friends of the business receive excellent, fun and friendly service.

Accountability’s include:
● Manages the day to day operations of the store.
● Delivers and exceeds daily/weekly sales budgets and sales growth expectations.
● Mitigates loss to the company through effective stock management administration and the controls.
● Ensure stock levels are replenished and maintained with shortages identified and advised to management.
● Maintains internal security procedures.
● Manage inventory and stock with accurate transferring as required and organize quarterly stock takes.
● Recruit, onboard and manage team as required, coordinating with HR agencies where necessary
● Communicate effectively with weekend retail staff and update them of any tasks to complete.
● Manages in store events and effectively coordinates brands and artists for sub leasing opportunities.
● Effectively completes all stores reporting requirements, including weekly store summary report.
● Coordinates with internal and external suppliers and agencies as required.
● Communicates effectively with artists and brands regarding in store events and sub letting.
● Ensures they are customer centric and e relentless in exceeding expectations.
● Builds customer relationships and builds repeat business.
● Leads by example in customer service, ensures any other team members working in store are trained to deliver above and beyond service that is consistent with Millie Savage expectations..
● Assist with pick, pack and despatch as required for domestic delivery.
● Ensure the store maintains visual standards and merchandises stock to maximize sales potential.
● Ensures the general cleanliness of the store is maintained each day.
● Ensure the shop floor is replenished daily and that the presentation of merchandise within the store is of a high standard.
● Ensures safety and wellbeing of self and team is high priority and reports any issues of bullying and harassment.
● Promotes an inclusive, diverse workplace always.
● Follows direction and provides appropriate feedback when required.
● Creates a positive and productive team environment.
● Communicates effectively with other team members to maximize company efficiency.
● Promotes a positive working culture through example.
● Resolves problems with the team or requests support from the General Manager as required.
● Perform all duties in accordance with policies and procedures outlined in the Millie Savage Employee Handbook

The role is for 38 hours per week, the hours would include weekends.
