About this role:
Crystal Palace Football Club are looking for a Junior Health and Safety Coordinator to join their organisation to provide a high level of administrative support to the Chief Operations Officer (COO). We are looking for somebody with excellent communication skills and a flexible, can do attitude. You will be process driven and IT literate with strong analytic skills with excellent organisational skills with and ability to work to deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate health and safety related queries to ensure that stakeholders have relevant advice in a timely manner
- Ensure incidents are reported, processed and recorded in a timely manner
- Coordinate delivery of health and safety related training, including potentially liaising with external providers to organise training courses across sites and departments
- Carry out risk assessments as and when necessary
- Ensure all records are kept up to date and organised within the designated folders.
- Maintain and update the health and safety information points and online resources
- Working match day to help Match Day Safety Officer
- Organise, attend and minute meetings, ensuring minutes are circulated and actions completed in sufficient time
- Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager
- Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Good understanding health and safety legislation
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Experienced in coordinating and administrative tasks
- Health & Safety Qualifications (desirable)
