Vines of Guildford is looking for a Retail Manager.
Your role
We are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude, a supportive team motivator and someone with professional integrity. A focus on maximising finance and insurance product income opportunities. An ability to provide operational support to the management and sales team to ensure we deliver the exceptional customer experience expected from the BMW brand.
Salary & OTE: £25,000 basic & £50,000 on target earnings (uncapped), Plus a company bike or car.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure sales and profit targets are met by working closely with the sales manager and sales executives.
- Ensure that enquiries are managed within the expectations of the business and manufacturer.
- Ensure that sales staff are fully conversant with all finance and insurance products available, which may help close sales or enhance profit. Train, mentor and coach sales executives to fully understand the features and benefits of these products.
- Look to renew, revisit and re-market to previous and existing customers, finance and insurance products that they may require from time to time.
- Work with sales staff to increase bike sales through active prospecting.
- Complaint management. Carried out within the timescales and to the standards expected by the business and manufacturer.
- Management of department forecasting and accounts.
- Willingness to carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by the Company
Your profile
- Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm in disposition and composed under stress.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills

- Experience with finance or insurance products
