Job description
Specscart is one of the fastest growing eyewear startups in the UK. A team of professionals who are changing the eyewear industry in the UK. We are looking for our new team member - a Store Assistant - who'll manage day to day operations at the Bury retail store. We fully support career development and if successful, we will help you achieve your goals. This position is based in Specscart, Bury Town Centre store.
You'll do everything from checking off deliveries to dealing with enquiries or ensuring that the shelves are fully stocked with well-presented products. And, of course, you'll provide excellent customer service at all times by attending to customer needs in a prompt and friendly way. It's a really fast-paced environment, and everyone understands exactly what needs to happen to make their store a success.
Responsibilities
- Checking and unpacking deliveries, stocking shelves, maintaining the store and putting orders together.
- Asking questions and building relationships - making sure our customers leave the store with everything that they need.
- Providing a great customer experience with a smile on your face.
- Maintaining our great product availability and high store standards
- Attending reception and making eye test appointments.
- Complete adjustments and collections. Dispense spectacles.
Requirements
- Previous retail experience working in a store is desirable.
- A keen eye for detail as you will be required to merchandise displays and prepare orders.
- Flexible approach and a team player with a positive can-do, no-nonsense approach.
- Prepared to work hard and make the most of our training.
- Willing to learn; experience in the eyewear industry is an advantage but not essential.
- Friendly, flexible, reliable, honest and enthusiastic.
