Store & Valuations Representative
Job Purpose:
You will be working in a luxury retail sales store and valuations office and will be key to contribute to its success by providing exceptional customer service to high end clientele.
You would need to keep up to date with jewellery and pawnbroking market trends as part.
of this role is also to support the team with valuing and assessing items predominantly diamonds, watches, and designer goods for both face to face customers, online enquiries and the store network of this fast-paced jewellers and pawnbrokers.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Provides a personal and professional customer service. Ensure that every customer receives the right outcome, product, or service for their individual situation.
- To provide valuations support across the H7T network for diamonds, watches and designer goods.
In-Store Environment
- Keeps office clean and tidy to create a welcoming in-store experience.
- Maintains an inviting, professional retail display, so that opportunities to interact with customers are maximised.
- Maintains the store appointment booking and diary allowing enough time to complete transactions between each client.
Operational Compliance
- Assists the team in line with regulatory requirements, company policies and latest operating procedures, to deliver a safe, secure, and compliant environment that properly protects our people, customers, and property.
Teamwork
- Contribute to being an active member of a passionate, and flexible team.
- Support colleagues to enable them to work to their best ability in their roles, assisting with all in store, online and valuations services, thereby offering a positive, seamless service to each customer.
- Willing to be trained in all aspects of the valuations team and processing Online Pawnbroking transactions.
- Contribute to key targets optimise time to ensure service levels/cover are met, so that the best customer journey is achieved.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Pawnbroking Experience
- Cash handling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective decision-making skills
- Proven ability to plan & organise workload and to adhere to targets/deadlines
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Word & Excel

- Relevant industry qualifications
