STOCK CONTROLLER - PRODUCTION PLANNER
Our team in Scunthorpe currently has an opening for a Stock Controller - Production Planner
To ensure the depots income is maximised by the effective and efficient production planning. The control of all incoming stock that require filling into packaging in a cost-efficient manner that contributes to depot EBITDA performance
As a stock controller, it will be your responsibility to:
- Liaise with sales division to determine customer requirements
- Liaise with purchasing team, operations, depots, and maintenance employees to ensure all workers, materials, and machinery will be available when required
- Develop a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date
- Monitor and order the packaging needed to meet the needs of the production schedule.
- Create works orders to meet the needs of the schedule and then receipt on completion.
- Create blend sheets to be added to the works orders
- Monitor production progress to ensure it's following the schedule
- Troubleshoot problems that occur during production, including staff shortages and machinery malfunctions
- Collect and assess data about the production and team's performance
- Prepare Labels, paperwork for the scheduled fill programme
- Run and analyse mandatory reports, daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Input and reconcile packed products at stock take.
- Daily/Weekly admin tasks such as receipting of sales orders, purchase orders, scanning, mandatory reports ECT.
- Provide cover when required, undertaking any reasonable task or duties assigned by the Office Manager from time to time that are related to the effective and efficient performance of the depot providing they are within the post holders skills and ability
