A bit about the roleAs a Stock Controller, you will ensure that the stock is accounted for and in the right place, allowing the retail team to provide an efficient service to our customers. It'll be down to you to keep paperwork up-to-date, using your initiative to sort out any stock related discrepancies, working effectively with your colleagues.
There'll be a lot of stock moving around the department, so we'll expect you to follow safety and security practices at all times.
As a Stock Controller, you will:
- Receive and receipt in Photostudio stock, ensuring these are received and processed in time
- Pick stock from store daily to be used to outfit within the photostudio
- Be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient stock movement throughout the studio
- Have daily communication with Production to ensure capacity is fulfilled
- Keep records up to date to ensure Stock Movement to and from the Photostudio is accounted for
- Manage the movement of stock between various store locations
- Collaborate with PLC on supporting the flow of product within the Photostudio workflow
- Well organised. You understand the importance your role plays in our service proposition by maintaining a clean, tidy and well organised stock rooms to support the sales team
- A great communicator. You will keep your division informed of workflow and timescales, pre-empting any issues and agreeing solutions
- Adaptable and flexible in your approach. You will be able to work to grasp new workflow and product systems
- Knowledgeable with MS Suite
- Collaborative. You will work closely with multiple teams to ensure the safeguarding of stock, prevent loss, and ensure product is accounted for at all times
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively. You will understand the need to shift working priorities due to competing deadlines and changing priorities
- A solutions focussed individual with the ability to review ways of working and suggest improvements
- Able to lift stock securely and safely

Please note, this is a part time position (25 hours per week) of which we would require the successful candidate to be able to work 5 hour shifts over 5 days.
