Stock Controller

Inclusion IQ is delighted to be supporting our multi-award-winning client as they continue to expand their service offering to their international clients and as a result, they are seeking to appoint a Stock Controller to join their office in Antrim.
The Role
This successful applicant will join a multi-award-winning organization who have been operational for over 50 years and is forecast to turn over in excess of £40 million this year.
Within the last 12 months, they have promoted 10 people into management positions, with an investment of an external 6-month management training program, they have also promoted 15 people across the business in the last year throughout the organization. With extensive and ambitious plans to grow even further in the next 5 years, the promotional opportunities are endless.

You will be required to undertake the following day-to-day duties:
•Liaise with external haulers and drivers and ensure bays have been allocated for arrival
- Responsible for maintaining positive work relationships with external contractors, drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth business operations
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and transport colleagues to ensure an efficient flow of goods inwards and outwards of the business.
- Accurately record and maintain information relating to deliveries and shipments as these will be required for inventory reconciliation
- Accurately receipting and despatching products on the internal stock system and creating the end paperwork
- Creating order picks/locations for all orders and effectively passing this information to the warehouse staff.
- Track loading times/delivery times and advise of issues in a timely fashion
- Develop and implement inventory operational standards for staff compliance
- Utilize computer systems to electronically track inventory flow, scan stock, and reconcile inventory
- Coordinate the supply of goods to customers to ensure complete orders and timely delivery
- Organise and carry out regular pick face checks cycle counts, putaway checks, spot checks, and pick checks and bring them to a timely conclusion, with sufficient investigation/explanation
The Person
To be considered for this position, applicants MUST demonstrate the following skills and expericne;
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the inventory, warehouse, or logistics
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday 11.00am – 8.00pm
- Strong IT skills to maintain and regularly update the internal stock control system
- Minimum of 2 years experience coordinating inventory operations
- The ideal candidate will be able to regulate shipments from the warehouse to ensure effective and timely delivery of client orders
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills with the ability to develop good relationships with our customers.
