JOB TITLE: Stock Co-ordinator

REPORTING TO: Despatch Manager

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Liaise with the Despatch Manager to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the Goods In Freezer and Dry Goods Storage Areas. Ensure product quality traceability and hygiene procedures are maintained. Maintain a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping in the Goods In Area.

In the absence of the Goods In And Stores Co-ordinator the Despatch Manager and most experienced goods in operative will take responsibility for the Key Result Areas.

KEY RESULT AREAS AND OBJECTIVES

RAW GOODS INTAKE - Ensure all goods delivered reflect accurately the delivery note. Ensure the correct procedures are followed for vehicle unloading and that raw product and dry goods are stored satisfactorily in the Chill, Freezer or Dry Goods Areas.

STOCK CONTROL - Ensure correct rotation of stock, control levels of stock and correct recording daily/weekly stock levels. Ensure traceability of all goods by means of the pallet code system.

COMMUNICATION - To assist and sort out any Goods In issues. Ensure that you are fully conversant with production requirements and fully understand the importance of the job. Ensure staff adhere to company policies.

STAFF MANAGEMENT - Ensure that you are fully conversant with Goods In procedures. That you understand the importance of your role and have received adequate training prior to operating any equipment.

HYGIENE AND HEALTH & SAFETY - Ensure you adhere to company policies in respect to hygiene requirements (clean overalls, hairnets, hats, hands, boots washed when entering / leaving production areas, after handling refuse and cleaning materials). Ensure that all laws / company policies regarding Health & Safety are strictly complied to at all times. Ensure only qualified operatives drive the forklift truck. Ensure the safe use and maintenance checks of the pallet trucks, racks and forklift are done.

2 positions available - Stock Co- Ordinator (freezer) and Stock Co- Ordinator (Dry Goods)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,500.00 per year
