Weldsafe Limited, based in Scotstoun, Glasgow, is looking for a Storesperson. Part time hours offered but full time also considered.

Weldsafe supplies welding machines, equipment, welding and cutting consumables, electrical products and PPE alongside a busy service engineering department.
Our customers are across a broad range of industries, including fabrication, engineering, energy, shipbuilding, manufacturing, construction, agriculture and motor vehicle repair.
We are offering the opportunity to train as a Stores Person. No experience is necessary if you have a desire to work hard, learn and become a valued member of the Weldsafe Team. If you show the right attitude and aptitude, we will offer training courses on forklift operation and basic electrical testing and wiring. Other opportunities to develop are available for the right candidate.
Your day to day tasks:
· Receiving deliveries, booking in on our sales/purchasing system (SAGE 50 Accounting Software)
· Dispatching goods, preparing shipments for our transport/couriers/customers
· Serving customers purchasing goods in store
· Controlling warehouse, showroom and yard, keeping them organised, clean and tidy
· Undertaking stock checks
· Basic wiring of electrical equipment
· Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) of electrical equipment (training provided)
· Occasional driving of the delivery van
Ideal candidate - must haves:
· Basic computer skills
· Basic numeracy
· Good communication skills
· Good time keeping
· Driving licence holder essential and willingness to drive delivery van and forklift
· Willing to learn
· Positive attitude
· Right to work in UK
Ideal candidate - desirable but not essential:
· Forklift licence
· Knowledge of the welding/engineering industry
· Warehouse/stock control experience
Hours:
Working pattern 0830-1700 Monday-Thursday, 0830-1600 Friday.
Part time or full time hours considered for the right candidate.

Part-time hours: 24-39 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
