Job description
We are looking for a full time Pig Stockperson in North Cornwall to assist with the day to day duties on a modern pig breeding and rearing farm.
You will be joining a small dedicated team on an indoor unit. You will be motivated, have a willingness to learn and have a desire to improve performance.
Your role will involve all aspects of daily tasks (feeding, cleaning/pressure washing, administering medication, weighing, selecting and record keeping)
This is a physical hands-on permanent role for the right candidate – approximately 55 hours per week working Monday-Friday plus a minimum of 1 in every 3 weekends.
Due to the rural location, your own transport is essential to be able to get
to/from work.
Good rate of pay with company pension scheme, depending on experience. Ongoing training will be given but proven farm livestock experience would be an advantage.
On site mobile home accommodation could be available via separate negotiation.
