Job Title: Stock Assistant

Contract: 20 hourspermanent, part-time 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday

Location: Nicola Jane, Southern Gate, Terminus Road, Chichester PO19 8SE

Job Purpose: To assist the Despatch Department with the stock replenishment, storage and receipt of returns.

Benefits: 20 days holiday increasing by 1 day per year to a max of 25 days (28 days including bank holidays)

Key Responsibilities

· To replenish stock from remote warehouse

· To assist unloading and storing large deliveries

· To process customer returns

· To carry out stock checks as required

· To maintain a clean and tidy remote warehouse and despatch department

· To assist the Despatch Team with tasks as required

Reporting to :

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Enthusiastic and demonstrate a positive approach to working in a busy environment
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse environment
  • Clean UK driving licence (transport provided)
  • Follow HSE guidelines in all areas of the role
  • Follow precise directions as well as being able to use own initiative
  • Work confidently on own and as part of a small team
  • Organised, punctual and reliable

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in stock environment
