1 x Stock and Admin Manager (Full-time, permanent)

Responsible for the accurate upkeep and inventory management of the stock file and assist in the control of the Credit Process within the DC. Including the PCC (for Heywood).
- Accountable for the accuracy of the DC stock file and ‘in full’ performance of the DC
- Oversee the management of outside storage facilities ensuring DC demand is fulfilled in line with the DC requirements.
- Manage stock holdings in outside storage, ensure they are kept in line with auditing requirements
- Setting and maintaining safety stock levels for all products in all chambers within the DC. Work closely with the PS planners to set manageable stock levels within the constraints of the DC and to assure supply to all customer requirements
- Continually improve and enhance pick tours in all chambers to assist operation to achieve maximum efficiencies, reduce credits and improve health and safety
- Perpetual inventory counts in all chambers to required frequencies
- New product introduction management, set up all item masters, put away priorities and locations for all new and returning products
- WMS housekeeping maintenance
- WMS solutions and improvements, continually look to fine tune and improve current WMS processes and procedures to improve DC efficiencies
- Manage the DC D&D account to within budgeted targets
- DC damage analysis, record and analysis all DC recorded damage and offer solutions and corrective actions to drive down cost to DC
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
- Conduct Year end stock counts in line with MB guidelines at the HW DC and outside storage facilities
- Management of third party Year end counts at the PCC VM accounts
- Ensure there is sufficient employee resource to cover all three shifts over a 7 day week;
- Ensure team cover all admin jobs from goods-in to invoicing out to keep the operation moving:
- Record attendance, holiday cover, long term sickness, absence management including return to work interviews etc, dealing with disciplinary and grievance issues;
- Assessments and appraisals are carried out on a 6 monthly basis;
- Complete live cycle counts daily and complete full DC counts weekly.
- Achieve daily workloads for the shift team and myself:
- Insure that the stock file accuracy is kept above 99% at all times
- Manage and monitor the WM system and make sure it is aligned with JDE at all times
- Monitor all stock movements inbound and outbound via WMS
- Monitor all damages through the DC and align costs accordingly
- Track all KPI’s on a daily / weekly basis and monitor accuracy to the customers
- Communicate all transactions to senior team daily / weekly
- Complete half yearly and yearly stock audits with external auditors
- Responsible for over 12,000 pallets at any one time
- Control weekly budget for stock loss for the distribution site.
- Work with our VMI (Vendor Management Inventory) / Third Party manager to ensure all customer requests are dealt with.
- Total compliance to all legislation appertaining to Heath & Safety (i.e. full health & Safety, EU, Company hygiene standards and clean as you go/QIP/AIB policies are followed). This is backed up in all the training manuals.
- Set priorities for direct reports, ensuring a balance between consistent day to day delivery against KPI’s, longer term planning and also support of key operational projects and initiatives.
