Stewards or security needed for regular Southampton Football events

*YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO ENROL ONTO THE LEVEL 2 NVQ IN SPECTATOR SAFETY QUALIFICATION WHICH IS NOW MANDATORY. THIS TRAINING IS FREE OF CHARGE*

What is the role?

The purpose of the Safety Steward is to provide a first-class service on events as required, ensuring the safety of all spectators and staff.

Typical duties include:

Provide general guidance to the public

Monitoring crowds

Checking tickets

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a confident candidate who can provide quality in service delivery. We need a candidate who can work well in a team and always ensure a professional attitude.
We are seeking well-presented, articulate, and dependable candidates who are comfortable working with the public and can be friendly as well as approachable.

Essential Experience:
Must have experience of working to strict health and safety guidelines

Desirable Experience:
Experience working within the security sector.
Experience of responding to emergency situations.

Essential Skills:
Have a polite, courteous, and helpful manner.
Has proven experience of controlling vulnerable situations.
Have good customer service skills.
Be professional and pro-active.
Be available on weekends, evenings, and bank holidays

Desirable Skills:
Experience in dealing with conflict and confrontation

Events running very regularly

Be smartly presented. Plain black trousers plain white shirt (long sleeved w/collar) plain black tie plain black shoes or boots (no trainers)

Potential for regular and ongoing work at this location.

Salary: £11.25 per hour
