Steel Fitter CSCS Qualified London, England
Job description
The Bike Storage Company is currently looking for an experienced Steel Fitter for ongoing projects predominantly based in the southeast with occasional works in the midlands and southwest.
The Steel Fitter candidates must have previous experience installing structural steelwork, with experience in street furniture favourable. Candidates must be able to provide a fitting mate, a budget of approximately £150 has been allowed for this (in addition to the day rate of £220-225 per day for site lead)
The ability to work safely to a high standard using your own initiative is required. You will need to have a good understanding of health and safety and work under pressure ensuring time scales are met.
You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic and conscientious, have high standards and be described as hard working, driven and a great team player.
Role requirements:
- Complete tool set; inclusive of impact driver, angle grinder & hammer drill
- CSCS card
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Reliable and competent fitting mate to partner with
- Own van (travel expenses paid)
- English speaking
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £220.00-£225.00 per day
