Job description
We are looking for a dynamic, committed and enthusiastic STEAM Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The successful candidate will enjoy teaching STEAM in a supportive and well-resourced department and must be prepared to contribute to faculty developments. This includes creating and developing multi-disciplinary projects and specialist lessons in Visual Communications (Graphics), Product Design, Resistant Materials, ICT and essentially inspiring pupils through their love of the subject. This is a ground breaking faculty who’s approach to Technology education is exciting and heavily focussed on careers. We work closely with local business partners and would expect all members of the team to work on developing new links to support the faculty.
The successful candidate will have excellent classroom practice, be committed to high standards of learning and student progress with the energy and vision to build on current progress and have ambitions for themselves and our school.
This is a part time, permanent position to start in September 2023. The FTE will be confirmed at interview but is likely to be around 0.4. The substantive for this post has been set at 0.2.
