Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to take up this new role to project manage our start for life project plan, to ensure that the local authority ambitions for Start for life are delivered. You will work as a member of a consultant in public health led team and in partnership with family hub programme leads in the Children, Young People and Education (CYPE) directorate.
Public health promote the prevention of poor health and seek to address health inequalities and inequities locally. The wider public health team commission public health services including a health visiting service, undertake research, work in health protection and carry out analysis of health-related data.
In this role you will line manage a project support officer. You will lead or monitor specific projects; support the establishment and implementation of the start for life board, provide reports for different audiences and contribute to digital solutions.
You will develop effective working relationships and learn quickly to meet the pace of delivery. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively across organizational boundaries and with internal partners.
