Aircraft Engineering Services (AES Ltd) are inviting applications for a Station Manager based at Stansted Airport, working in cooperation with our client Ryanair, Europe's largest airline.

Duties and responsibilities
Reporting directly to the UK General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of Ryanair's Engineering Station at Stansted Airport and a team of 100+ Engineers and Supervisors. Daily duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Management of Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents/AOG’s and Third Party Liaison.
- Manpower planning, recruitment and staff performance management.
- Ensuring appropriate spares, tooling and equipment are available.
- Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports and regulatory non-compliances, implementing strategies to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated self-starter with managerial experience who is ready, willing and able to manage technical teams in a diverse and fast-changing environment. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent time management, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and effectively communicate progress to Senior Management.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven leadership experience, capable of remotely managing diverse teams.
- Previous experience in Aviation or Engineering is advantageous, but not essential.
- Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
