We are excited to announce that Hollyoaks have a unique entry level opportunity for a Stagehand to join our Design team. Our Design team embrace the show’s vision of ‘Life but Brighter’, creating scenes and establishing props that compliment and complete each of our character profiles; encompassing vibrancy, glamour and style into even our deepest and darkest of stories.
We are looking for a team player with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude, who is eager to learn. As a Stagehand you will provide support to the Standby Props team; preparing, collecting and distributing props to set, as well as making and repairing basic props when needed. It will be your responsibility to ensure that Props are collected and returned to set in good order from the Prop Store. The role is physically demanding, and you will be required to support crews across the site throughout the day. We need a problem solver who can think on their feet and adapt to an often changing, fast paced environment. Strong organisational and communication skills along with a collaborative approach are a must, so that you can work effectively with the Prop Store team and Standby Props Person to support your crew.
