We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our client’s busy Inpatient Surgical Ward at their acute hospital site based in the historic ‘five boroughs’ community of Derby, Derbyshire, England’s most central city.

This post is open to candidates seeking either full-time or part-time hours opportunity. The salary is £28,500 – £30750 pro rata

This organisation is Britain’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organisation and is a leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK.
Their Derby Hospital works with some of the regions expert Consultants and multidisciplinary healthcare specialists and comprises 38 beds, three operating theatres, a recently refurbished outpatient department, a minor ops suite, a dedicated oncology unit, and a full range of diagnostics, including on site CT and MRI.

With a mix of private and NHS patients and a wide range of clinical procedures and specialities this makes this centre of excellence an exciting, dynamic and creative place to work.
Delivering an exceptional standard of Surgical care, supported by the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment – the specialities include;
-Orthopedics- including spinal surgery and arthroplasty,
  • General surgery including breast, laparoscopic
  • Gynecology

  • Urology
  • ENT
  • Cosmetic

Person requirements:
Registered Nurse with full NMC registration.
Minimum of one year of post-registration UK experience in an Surgical ward setting
UK graduate Nurses with particular interest in developing further into a Surgical ward setting may also be considered.
